The quickest way to get paint in your journal!

I have a super quick tutorial for you today and I think it is literally the quickest way to get paint on your page! I also have a vlog to share which makes me nervous! I hate being on camera! Alright first the vlog which I didn't edit or anything so your getting it as is! If you have some vlogs please feel free to share a link with us I would love to see them!

And now onto my tutorial I really hope you guys enjoy it and please if you try it post it in the comments I would love to see how they turn out!

Long time no see!

I haven't posted in awhile and it's just because I am really busy! But here is an update with a few pages!

Saying goodbye the page reads and this was not easy for me to post - it's time for me to let go baby boy. I still think about you everyday and I still wish you were here and I always will. But I need to let go of what happened for me. I know you are in heaven watching over me and your momma, I can't wait for the day I get to see you again. I love you.

Inspiration Thursday

So I decide on Thursday I will pick and image, a color or anything that inspires me and base a journal page around it! Sounds fun huh? Here is the image that inspired me .....

Photography Friday

I am having so much playing with the camera lately! This week is just random things around my house that look interesting when given a closer look. I also have a journal page to post, so here we go!

The journal page reads - Change - I feel like I am changing and growing. I have decided to stop settling and actually do what makes me happy. I feel like I am taking steps to become the person I can be. And I am having fun on this crazy ride that will eventually take me where I want to go. Only time will tell what's going to happen but as long as I am having fun finding out then that's all that matters. I am really finding the strength to change and that is amazing!

Tuesday Tutorial

Well I had a great video I planned to film last night and then I didn't get home til ten and I was so tired I went to bed at eleven, yes eleven which is pretty early! So today I have no video but instead a photo tutorial on how to make textured backgrounds with Gesso.

What you need:
Gesso
A butter knife or palette/painting knife
Acrylic paint
Baby Wipes

So prep your page by adding a layer of Gesso
 After that layer is dry use your knife to spread out Gesso on your page

Next add your choice of Acrylic paint

Then take a baby wipe and rub away excess paint to reveal texture

I then added a layer of light blue which turned green of course!

I added a layer of green and wiped away a voila a cool textured background!

I know it's not the best but it will have to do for today, I am working on a journal page as we speak and hopefully I will be posting that tonight! Happy Tuesday!

A new journal page (with underwear!)

I started this late last night when I could night sleep! I got up this morning and just finished it!

It reads time to put on my big girl underwear and Grow up! The journaling reads- Alright Rebecca your 30 almost 31, it's time to grow up not only for myself but for my family and the family I want to have. I need to find what makes me happy and do it! It's time to let go of the past and look into the future, It's time to make some changes, it's time to grow up.
