Altered Clipboard

Hi there! Hope you are having a great day! I am here to share just a fun little tutorial! You can do this project in less than an hour and it is super cute!

I found this cute burlap clipboard at Michael's its made by Tim Holtz and comes with lots of fun embellishments BUT they weren't really my style so I went ahead and made it my own!

I started with the blank burlap clipboard and used this awesome Heidi Swapp stencil with white spray ink!

I also painted the actual clip a metallic black, added some hot pink around the edges and a bit here and there. I used my black stamp pad to add some black around the edge of the clipboard!

I added an inked up flower, some feathers and gems and voila done! I love how it turned out! Well I hope you enjoyed my little project have a great day and happy arting friends!

Canvas Heart Tutorial

Hi friends! I hope you are having a great day! Today I am sharing a fun little tutorial on how to make this cute heart canvas! Its super fun and easy and will bring a little sparkle to wherever you decide to hang it! Lets get started!

Start out by cutting out a heart shape from your canvas fabric

I then completley  gessoed over the entire heart to stiffen the fabric some and to give me a nice white clean surface

I used some black ink and splattered some accrossed the heart I then added some stamped words to add some extra flare

I used this great flower stencil all over the heart I used my hot pink fluid acrylics mixed with both texture paste and modeling paste so that it was super thick and textured when dry
I used my hot glue gun to add some pretty flowers a gold frame and a pretty gold key! It was super fun and easy to make and I am a bit addicted I have two more in the works as we speak! I hope you enjoyed my little tutorial happy creating friends!

Mixed Media Fabric Cuff Bracelet

Hello friends! Today I am here with a super easy and fun tutorial! Its a fun fabric cuff that you can put together in less than fifteen minutes! So easy and super cute in no time at all! Let's get started!

Here's what you'll need:
Fabric
Empty Tape Roll
Ribbon
Hot Glue
Pendant

So I have been a bit of a hoarder and have been saving these empty duct tape rolls AND my hand painted fabric for forever! Well I decided it was time to put them to good use!

Start but cutting a strip of your fabric about an inch to an inch and a half wide

Grab your tape roll and start on the inside with a bit of hot glue

Start wrapping the cuff, only gluing every other strip on the inside of the cuff

Grab some ribbon and glue around the cuff, leaving a bit of a tail, tie in a knot, adding a dot of glue to the center of knot so it stays together. Trim and fray check your ribbon.

Add your pendant with some glue and you are done! Super simple!
I hope you enjoyed my tutorial, its a great way to wear your art and add some fun to any outfit! What are some ways you enjoy wearing your art? The possibilities are endless! Questions? Comments? Feel free to Comment below! Happy Crafting!!!

Mini Canvas Tutorial

Hi lovelies how are you? I am here to share a fun little project you could get done in an afternoon! It's super fun and doesn't cost much either! Making mini canvases can have a ton of possibilities! I got this pack of six 4x4 canvases at Michael's for just under four dollars and if you bring in a forty percent off coupon its even cheaper! Well lets get started!

 1. The first thing I did was tape my canvases together so that I could work on the back ground all together to make it a bit easier and faster.
 2. Glue down some riped up book pages
3. I added a bunch of gesso with a pallet knife and then smashed the canvas together to get some fun texture going
 4. Use a paper towel (yes a paper towel) to spread random colors of paint on all the canvases
Using the paper towels give you a soft wispy effect that I am in LOVE with!
5. I then continued with all of my favorite colors!
 6. Add some purple spray through a stencil to add some interest
 7. I then broke the canvases apart and added some neon oil pastels around the edge of all of the canvases
8. Use some stamps on the back ground and then made hearts with some modeling paste
 9. I painted over all of the modeling paste with fun neon colors
10.  Use sequins on the hearts for some fun 3D elements and add a fun doodle border and that's it your done! Super simple right?

I hope you all enjoyed my mini canvas tutorial please feel free to post a link if you try this out for yourself! I would love to see what wonderful things you come up with!
